1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mike's Media website (the "Site") and the services provided by Mike's Media ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Services

Mike's Media provides video production, photography, and social media content services for businesses. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing for any engagement are defined in a separate written proposal, quote, or agreement between you and Mike's Media. In the event of a conflict, that written agreement controls over these Terms.

3. Bookings, Quotes & Payment

• Quotes are valid for the period stated in the proposal and may change based on project scope.
• A deposit may be required to reserve a shoot date; dates are not held until the deposit is received.
• Payment terms, including due dates and accepted methods, are specified in your project agreement.
• Late payments may pause work or delivery of final content.

4. Intellectual Property & Licensing

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Mike's Media retains ownership of raw footage, project files, and the underlying creative work. Upon full payment, clients receive a license to use the final delivered content for the purposes described in their agreement. Mike's Media may display completed work in its portfolio, on social media, and in marketing materials unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to provide accurate information, timely feedback, reasonable access to locations and people needed for the shoot, and any necessary permissions or releases for individuals, properties, music, or brands featured in the content.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling policies, including any associated fees or non-refundable deposits, are set out in your project agreement. Weather or safety-related rescheduling for outdoor shoots will be handled in good faith by both parties.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mike's Media is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to a project will not exceed the amount paid by the client for that project.

8. Third-Party Links & Tools

The Site may link to third-party websites and use third-party tools (for example, our contact form provider and social media platforms). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
